Energize Dance Company
Energize Dance Company is a dedicated group of Energize Dancers who have gone through a placement assessment to measure their technical abilities and performance skills. Once accepted, students are placed into leveled technique classes and dances based on ability and performance style so they can focus on preparing performances for competitions. Energize Dance Company dancers display a strong work ethic and are dedicated to improving their dance technique and performance skills. All dancers in Energize Dance Company are required to take technique classes to help build a strong foundation for all styles of dance.
Sparks Company
Sparks Company is our youngest beginner level competitive company. Sparks dancers take approximately 3 hours of classes and rehearsals each week in ballet, jazz and one elective class: acro, hip hop, tap, or lyrical. Perfect for dancers who are just starting out their competitive dance journey. These dancers also perform in 2 performances (UTC Winter Performance & Annual Recital) and attend 3 competitions in the spring.
Ignite Company
Ignite Company is our elementary school intermediate level competitive company. Ignite Company dancers are required to take 4+ hours of class each week in ballet, tap, lyrical, and jazz with optional elective classes, hip hop and acro. Ignite dancers attend 3 regional competitions and 1 convention each season. Ignite Company dancers can audition for group dances, solos, duets, and trios.
Blaze Company
Blaze Company is our next level competitive company for dancers in elementary school and middle school. Blaze Company dancers take 5+ hours of class each week in ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, and leaps and turns. Blaze dancers can take optional electives: hip hop and acro. They attend 3 regional competitions and 1 conventions each season. Junior Company dancers can audition for group dances, solos, duets, and trios.
Flare Company
Flare Company is our oldest competitive company for dancers in 7th-12th grade. Flare Company dancers take 7+ hours of class each week in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, leaps and turns hip hop, acro and ballroom and attend 3 regional competitions and 2 conventions each season. Flare Company dancers audition for 2 or more group dances and have the option to participate in solos, duets, and trios.
